Rule 10
Report of work, action

(1) Each High Public Prosecutor's Office, Special Public Prosecutor's Office and District Public Prosecutor's Office shall send the monthly and annual report of the work done by them to the Office of the Attorney General in the prescribed format.
(2) The district public prosecutor's office shall also send the report as per sub-rule (1) to the relevant higher public prosecutor's office.
(3) The monthly report as per sub-rule (1) shall be sent within seven days of the end of the month and the annual report shall be sent within fifteen days of the end of the financial year. But the monthly report of the last month of the financial year can be sent along with the annual report of the same financial year. (4) According to sub-rule (1), in the annual report sent by the High Public Prosecutor's Office, the physical status, workload and actual status of the office of the public prosecutor and the subordinate public prosecutor's office, necessary recommendations and suggestions must also be mentioned.
(5) The Office of the Attorney General shall prepare a monthly report of the work done by him in the prescribed format.
(6) According to the Constitution of Nepal, the Attorney General shall submit the annual report of the work done by the Office of the Attorney General and the subordinate Public Prosecutor's Office to the President within six months after the end of the financial year.
(7) In the report according to sub-rule (6), the following should also be included in addition to the things mentioned in sub-section (2) of Article 159 of the Constitution of Nepal: (a) The nature of the crimes committed within the country and the comparative status of the crime and the population,
(b) Status of conviction or acquittal in a case involving the right, interest or interest of the Government of Nepal,
(c) the allocated budget received by the Attorney General's office and subordinate offices, the status of expenditure and the arrangement of resources,
(d) Problems and improvement measures seen in the case in which Nepal Government is the plaintiff,
(e) Corrective measures for fault control.
